Sound-to-picture studio: London's leading facility

Our sound to picture services are used by many of London's top advertising agencies, production companies and animation houses, and we hold an impressive portfolio of TV ads, directors commentaries, idents and documentaries.

Our live rooms will accommodate up to five artists comfortably and are ideal for recording voice overs to picture. Our sound to picture studios enjoy good sight lines into the control room and feature flat screen TVs on which to follow the on-screen action.

So whether you require a basic voice over recording to take away, or the whole package, with voice over, sound design, final mix and delivery, SNK Studios sound-to-picture team has the expertise to take care of your project from start to finish.

Sound-to-picture technical expertise

SNK prefer to work to MOV files which can be sent to our sound-to-picture team ahead of time to be prepared for the session. They can be sent via FTP or on a drive. As the pictures are usually just for reference, the resolution doesn't need to be huge. Having smaller files also saves on any conversion time.

Our sound-to-picture teams can work with DigiBeta, to pull pictures off or lay them back on. We generally hire the units in, so this requires 24-hours notice if required. Currently DigiBeta decks are one of the few chargeable extras at SNK. We will confirm the costs with you beforehand.
